At the ripe old age of 55, the Whopper has aged exceptionally. It’s the George Clooney of fast food sandwiches. Don’t tell Big Mac, but I hear the Whopper has had some work done over the years.

In celebration of the Whopper’s momentous 55th anniversary, participating Burger King restaurants are offering Original Whoppers for 55 cents with the purchase of any Whopper sandwich beginning December 6. It goes without saying (but I’ll say it anyway) that this mouth-watering offer is only available for a limited time — from December 6 – 9, to be exact. So go out and grab this iconic slice of Americana while you can because, let’s face it, it’s the closest you or I will ever get to George Clooney.
