From the beastly maggots to the psychotic clown to the classic Vegas sign, the cupcake series warms our hearts and leaves us wishing that all food had a delicious deviousness to them. The eerie delight that marks Ralph Steadman’s signature style is captured throughout the icing decor, especially in the quoted cupcake, “Too weird to live. Too rare to die.”
Yet the best treat: The cupcake coke lines, razor and rolled up Benjy. That one must taste delicious.
