The Plastic Water Bottle Rocket Launcher, Your New Favorite Reason to Recycle

Leave it to Japan to take something so pure and innocent and turn it into a supercharged mechanized destructo-toy, complete with swimsuit-wearing cartoon spokesmodels and their (probably talking) pet dog.

From Marudai Corp. comes the PET Bottle Launcher RPG-7, a fully operational plastic bottle rocket launcher that is guaranteed to beat your friends’ water balloons, Super Soakers and weak-ass Aquapods down to the ground. With some assembly required and an 18-and-up warning label, it might not be a great idea to give it to your kids to play with, but feel free to fill ‘er up yourself with water (lame), hot sauce (better), or alcohol (best) and have yourself one hell of an end-of-summer bash.

Rocket launcher and individual pieces available online for ¥28,350 or $363 total.
