Red Bull to Launch a New Flavor With No Calories, Carbs, or Sugar

Red Bull brand is gearing up to launch Red Bull Total Zero in April, hoping to capture more of the calorie-evading energy-craving crowd than ever before.

The new flavor touts a formula that has zero calories, zero carbs and zero sugar. The Red Bull brand is well aware of their current “sugar free” flavor, but this new direction hopes to use the “zero” branding strategy as has been used with other beverage companies like Coca-Cola (Coke Zero), Monster (Monster Absolutely Zero), and SoBe (SoBe’s LifeWater Zero Calorie).

Total Zero joins the Red Bull lineup shortly after the discontinuing of  both their Cola and Energy Shot varieties due to poor perfomance. Total Zero will be available nationally in April, and packaged in the familiar 8.4 oz. can, along with 12 and 16 oz. sizes and also sold in 8.4 oz. 4-packs. Each can will have a suggested retail price of $2.19.
