Burger King Introducing Chicken Strips and Crispy Chicken Snack Wraps

The chicken-snack category is a growing one within the fast food industry, and Burger King is hoping to lodge themselves into a portion of it with the introductions of Chicken Strips and Crispy Chicken Snack Wraps.

On the tail of  recent marketing materials promoting their trio of chicken sandwiches, the King is adding the Crispy Chicken Snack Wraps on their expanded $1 Value Menu. The wraps are available with Honey Mustard or Ranch sauces, and are now available in select markets.

According to burger blog BurgerBusiness, Burger King will likely price their Chicken Strips above their Chicken Tenders, but not as high as their Tendercrisp chicken sandwiches.

Chicken-snacks are definitely on the mind of major fast food brands as of late. McDonald’s recently launched their Chicken McBites and KFC is testing Chicken Littles sandwiches in select markets
