Taco Bell to Launch Nacho Cheese Doritos Taco Shells Nationwide, Cool Ranch Flavor to Follow?

Entire taco shells that are made of Nacho Cheese Doritos? That’s right, they’re called the Doritos Locos Tacos, and they’re coming very soon to a Taco Bell near you. In fact, come midnight March 8, 2012 the Nacho Cheese variety of the Doritos Locos Taco shells will be available at participating locations nationwide.

We’ve heard the rumors, but the official word is in, straight from Taco Bell CEO Greg Creed at a cozy blogger event we’re live tweeting from at the Taco Bell headquarters in Irvine, CA.

According to the information leaking out from the event, not only is the Nacho Cheese variety on its way, a shell made of the equally sought after Cool Ranch Doritos flavor has already been developed, tested and is also on the way for Taco Bell customers soon after.
