Sandwiches are the Medium, Art is the Idea

It doesn’t take fancy supplies to make art, but it does take some creativity. Using slices of whole wheat bread as canvases to recreate works by master painters such as O’Keefe, Hirst, and Rothko. Brittany Powell and her friend Tae Kitakata have taken the same old sandwich supplies to a whole new level. As part of their “Low-Commitment Projects,” these open faced sandwiches look neat, but are they stomach worthy?
