KFC to Publish Colonel’s Long Lost Manuscript

Being dead for thirty years hasn’t stopped this fast-food mogul, no sir. A typewritten manuscript has been discovered recently by an employee divulging a number of recipes and life lessons written by Harland “Colonel” Sanders. The company places the manuscript’s origin around 1967 before the Colonel passed away in 1980. The company also has plans to publish the manuscript on the internet in the future.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. You’re wondering if those famous 11 herbs and spices make an appearance somewhere around the document. Don’t hold your breath folks. The manuscript doesn’t outline that particular bit of information. That secret remains safely guarded in the corporate safe alongside the recently discovered manuscript by Mr. Sanders.

What the manuscript does contain is a number of different recipes from classic farm-based recipes for casseroles, omelettes, pies and pancakes. The document holds some enlightening words of wisdom from the Colonel himself about life and his passion for food. While the manuscript is planned to be published on the web, it remains unclear whether or not it will be published in its entirety. The company stated that they may omit some of the recipes from the published version that will remain in the corporate vault.
