McDonald’s Is Aware of McRib’s Humorous Lack of Bones

McRib is back, as we reported on last week, and McDonald’s is now commenting on its availability to a rather humorous degree. Most media outlets usually ask the same question, “Why doesn’t McDonald’s just offer the sandwich on their permanent menu, year-round, if it’s so popular?”

Marta Fearon, McDonald’s U.S. marketing director added that bringing the sandwich bac back every so often “adds to the excitement.” When HuffPo asked how it can be called a McRib if it doesn’t have any bones and she replied: “That gives it this quirky sense of humor.”

The boneless barbecue pork sandwich will be sold at all U.S. McDonald’s locations through November 14th.
