McDonald’s McRib Sandwich Returns For Limited Time

It’s that illustrious time of year where McDonald’s brings to the menu an item with such a cult following we often ask — why not just keep it year-round? The McRib is a phenomenon, to say the least. The sandwich itself features boneless ribs (that somehow keep the shape of bone-in ribs), smothered in a barbecue sauce and topped with tart pickles and onions. All of these ingredients are sandwiched between a toasted bun, and finds its way onto McDonald’s menus once a year around this autumn season.

While no nationwide press release has yet surfaced, numerous localized reports have acknowledged its return, even noting some generous giveaways to certain areas in Florida. Local Florida publications are reporting that the sandwich is indeed back, and will be available through November 13th.

Let the undoubtable McRib coverage begin. Until then, enjoy some of last year’s McRib madness from the foodie community —
