290-Pound Man Sues White Castle For Bigger Booths

Everybody has a little bit of junk in the trunk, but what do you do when you have too much? Martin Kessman of New York has the answer — sue White Castle for more trunk space.

According to International Business Times, Kessman’s trouble started when he sat down to eat his usual No. 2 meal on that unfaithful day in April 2009. He tried to squeeze his way into the restaurant’s booth, but he banged his knee and left defeated.

Kessman said it is not his size that is the issue. He fits perfectly fine in other restaurants and even airplanes. He wrote a letter to corporate headquarters to complain about the problem and received coupons for more burgers.

“In each letter was a coupon for three free hamburgers — but the cheese was extra!” according to the lawsuit.

White Castle said they would increase the booth size, but nothing has been done yet.

However, Kessman is unable to maintain his go-getter attitude and subsides to his cravings for those little, delicious sandwiches. He apparently has sent his wife pick it up for him because he’s too embarrassed to get it himself.

“I just want to sit down like a normal person,” he said.
