Frito-Lay Launches “Fiery Fusion” Versions of Cheetos and Doritos

Frito-Lay  has just dropped two new flavors for its North American consumers in the form Fiery Fusion Doritos and Cheetos. According to Frito-Lay, the new product reflects the consumers’ changing tastes for spicier products. Both snacks are made with a blend of cheese, herbs and spices, followed by what they describe as a “slow-burning heat derived from a combination of cayenne pepper, vinegar and paprika.”

The Cheetos Fiery Fusion snacks come in 3.75-ounce bags, while the Doritos Fiery Fusion come in 3.37-ounce bags. Both have a SRP of $1.49, will you be trying them?

I had the Cheetos.  They’re just fine.  I suppose they are a little different than the other spicy versions – jalepeno cheddar and the red hot.  I’ll stick with the Honey BBQ Twists.

Slightly off-topic:  I just had those Stadium Nacho “John Madden edition” Doritos after trying to find them ever since they came out like a year ago.  I know there are like 5 different variations on Nacho Doritos…. but I swear to god they really do taste like nachos you’d get at a ball game, with that goopy cheese and jalepenos.  Definitely worth hunting down.  It’s amazing that a powder conglomeration can achieve that.  They have a big football helmet on the bag.
