Wendy’s Testing Chili Cheese Fries in Certain Markets

We’re getting reports that a Wendy’s restaurant in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts have begun serving Chili Cheese Fries as a limited time option for $2.49. Interestingly enough, if you worked hard enough with the current menu, you could order all the necessary ingredients for this dish and frankenstein it yourself.

For a brand that puts such an emphasis on their chili quality, we’re surprised this particular menu item hasn’t been revealed earlier.

    Wendy’s used to offer “Chili, Chips, and Cheese” on their menu – which was just the tortilla chip rounds from their taco/nacho salad, with some chili and melted cheese over them, served in a similar container as the photo you show above. When they dropped whatever their taco salad was that included the bag of nacho chips, they stopped making it.
