The Voice Behind McDonald’s Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Commercials

Earlier this month, McDonald’s officially announced the national launch of their Frozen Strawberry Lemonade. Shortly after, the brand let loose their full fledged marketing campaign for the frozen summer drink, spanning both web and video, starring a sour and depthful-looking talking lemon.

Shortly after the campaign hit the airwaves and took over the McDonald’s website, we inquired with representatives of the campaign to verify the voice over actor behind the talking lemon. Indeed, Steven Schirripa…more popularly known as Bobby “Bacala” Baccalieri from the HBO series The Sopranos.

A little gangster swagger paralleling the sour flavors in the new Frozen Strawberry Lemonade? Sounds rather fitting. For those that aren’t familiar with Bobby Baccalieri’s work on The Sopranos, here’s a taste:
