Elvis Ice Cream Sandwiches?

With the meteoric rise in popularity of the Maple Bacon Sundae as part of Denny’s new Baconalia! menu, we’re bound to see more bacon – ice cream hybrids in the coming weeks. In the case of our friend Adam, his culinary exploits couldn’t wait a couple weeks, with the thought of bacon and ice cream eating away at his daily thought processes he quickly took to his freezer to see what he was working with.

What resulted was the usage of Skinny Cow Peanut Butter & Chocolate Ice Cream sandwiches, real bacon bits and sliced banana. The conclusion was the Elvis Ice Cream Sandwich looked more interesting than it actually tasted. I guess bacon and ice cream simply isn’t for everyone, but at least we get a visual construction for idea purposes.
