Girl Scout Cookie Truffles
Girl Scout cookie season has landed and apparently, the possibilities are a bit more endless than we initially thought. Usually, the extent of our Girl Scout Cookie snacking begins and ends with the breaking open of a Thin Mints box. According to our baking friend Becky, our cookie-snacking doesn’t have to flatline once we break the seal on the plastic packaging.
In her latest creation, she’s pieced together these Girl Scout Cookie Truffles, a fabulous reconditioning and extension of life for both the Thin Mintand Samoa flavors. For the Thin Mint variety, she utilized crushed Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies, softened cream cheese and chocolate baking bark to bring the flavors together. As for the Samoa Truffles, a box of crushed Samoa Gril Scout Cookies were included, along with toasted coconut, softened cream cheese and white chocolate baking bark for the casing.
