Pho Garden Serves Up a Four Pound Pho Bowl

San Francisco based Pho Garden strives to make a bold distinction amongst the sea of Pho spots around town. What’s their elevator pitch? They have a 4 pound bowl of Pho. Yes, it weighs 4 pounds, and if someone hated you enough, they could drown you in it (har har). With a bowl that big the restaurant felt the need to popularize a “Pho Garden Challenge,” an incentive to customers to attempt to eat the $22 meal in under 60 minutes. If completed successfully (all the noodles and combination beef completely eaten), the customer gets a personal photo on their wall of Pho Garden Champions and their $22 bowl is on the house. Sounds like a hook to me!
