New Versions of Four Loko Should Surface in Texas Soon
November 16th, 2010 marked the day Phusion Projects announced it would be removing caffeine from its infamous Four Loko alcoholic energy drink. Sources have now revealed that the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has approved the sale of a reformulated version of the popular malt beverage. The new version, without caffeine, comes in response to the Food and Drug Administration‘s conclusion in November that caffeinated malt beverages pose a health risk to consumers. No word on when these new products begin shipping or what retailers will receive them first. Stay tuned!
