Carl’s Jr: Changing Their Fries, Again?

Back in 2008, Carl’s Jr. took a big jump and decided it was getting rid of their regular French fries. Their skinny, original fries were replaced with “natural-cut” fries, which were thicker and had the potato skins left on. Reactions to the decision and the new product were mixed. It wasn’t until their original fries were gone, that many of their loyal customer base realized what they were missing. It seems Carl’s Jr. may have taken some of this criticism to heart and found a possible happy medium: Natural Cut Shoestring Fries.

In a report by Nancy Luna with quoted support from Carl’s Jr.’s Beth Mansfield, “Natural Cut (skin-on) Shoestring fries are being introduced system wide at Carl’s Jr., replacing the thicker cut Natural Cut Fries.” For Carl’s Jr. fans (and non-fans alike), what do you think? What’s the best fry solution for the chain? For those residing in Orange County, there have been reports of these new fries in the Tustin area if you want to go give them a try.

When more information arises about the release of these new fries, rest assured we’ll bring it forward!
