Taco Bell: New Pacific Shrimp Taco

We knew it was in testing, but now the day has come, Taco Bell has officially dropped a fish alternative onto their menu in the form of the Pacific Shrimp Taco. Comes in a soft flour tortilla with six shrimp marinated in a mix of spices, topped with crisp shredded lettuce, Fiesta Salsa and Avocado Ranch Sauce. Of course, just in time for Lent season, and when consumed only adds 180 calories, 7 grams of fat, 21 grams of carbs, 660 mg of sodium and 8 grams of protein to your diet. If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think!

just had some. the avocado sauce is nice, and over all it’s pretty good but it could have used more / bigger shrimp.

I’m interested to try this today, hopefully it should be a decent alterative to the fried shrimp/fish tacos of its competitors. I’ll update more later today about it!

Just had it, it was actually quite delicious. Shrimp isn’t as bad as you would think, in fact it was rather nice. Almost felt grilled off, and the avocado sauce they got going on is also rather pleasant.

Just reviewed it on my blog http://bates-bell-blog.blogspot.com/

Tasty, and a bit bigger than their normal taco, but $3.00 tasty? probably not.

I loved them and very sad when I went to the South Lyon Taco Bell to hear they had been discountinued. They were low in calorie and the only thing I would be able to eat there so sadly no more Taco bell stops for me:(

I love shrimp and tacos but these things are NASTY. Stick to the chicken and beef.
