Just when we thought the burger war was over, Carl’s Jr. reminded us otherwise. Today, the Happy Star crew decided to add more heat to the mix by pricing a new Six Dollar Cheeseburger at $2.79! They boast that the burger is nearly twice the size of McDonald’s Quarter Pounder® with Cheese, for less money. This new Six Dollar Cheeseburger comes with almost a half pound of charbroiled 100% Black Angus Beef, two slices of American cheese, onion, dill pickles, ketchup and mustard on a seeded bun. This focus on a price cut in their promotional tactics is actually rather interesting for the Carl’s Jr. brand, considering their longstanding efforts to avoid “value meals” and excessive discounting. Either way, we get a new burger out of the mix!
