The past few days I’ve had several friends of mine who read the site tell me that we have a strange fixation with bacon. I told them to stop reading the site, because I took it as a complaint. I’m not really sure what I’m getting at…but mainly, I’m still friends with them, we all still are down for the bacon fixation, and to push their individual envelopes even further, here’s a shot of a freshly baked piece of bacon baklava! Made with cayenne/nut/bacon mixture, cinnamon, bacon fat in the butter and a mixture of maple syrup, honey, agave nectar and pomegranate molasses. My Lebanese mom would be furious if she saw this.
