In what began as one of our most hotly debated and interesting pollings ever, it turns out our food-loving audience has deemed Ice Cream a better frozen alternative to its younger, skinnier and arguably sluttier sister, Frozen Yogurt. During the first few days of our weekly research, the results were actually pouring in in favor of Frozen Yogurt, at one point leading the competition carrying 80% of the vote. As the days marched forward, we saw a progressive swing in the polling place as Ice Cream found its way to a demanding finish, maintaining 62% of the final vote. So even with the influx of “fro-yo” shops across the way, it seems when it comes down to it, if people were stuck on an island and had only one option for a brain freeze, it would be the rich, succulent flavors of Ice Cream.
