We all knew the economy was going to shit when we relayed the news that Mrs. Fields’ cookie business was going belly-up a few weeks back. I’m relieved to hear that they indeed have come up with a plan to keep the delicacies rolling. The interim co-CEO of Mrs Fields, has been quoted saying, “This is a remarkable day for everyone associated with Mrs Fields. We are very pleased to have a confirmed Plan of Reorganization only 40 days after filing our prepackaged bankruptcy petitions, and see this as a testament to the hard work of our outstanding employees, franchisees and vendors, and to the dedication of our loyal customers.” The deal involving $10 million dollars can be read up on in further depth here!
