KROQ FM Golden Ticket / Del Taco
    September 30th, 2008 | Eats

KROQ 106.7, Southern California’s premiere rock radio station (and where I get my daily fix of Kevin and Bean on my morning commute) is putting on a mighty interesting contest for the local Orange County cities. In collaboration with Del Taco restaurants in the area, KROQ is giving away their new stickers and holding various food related contests. On the back of one sticker will be a code that can be entered via the KROQ website for the possibility of winning FREE access to KROQ concerts all year (2009) and a brand new motor vehicle! To participate or find out a little more, make sure to read up on their website!

    Hardee’s 1/4 Lb. Little Thickburger
    September 29th, 2008 | Eats

Five years ago Hardee’s made a splash by introducing 1/3 lb. and 1/2 lb 100% Black Angus Beef Thickburgers. Now, after raising the bar for the quality of a fast-food hamburger, Hardee’s is introducing their signature Thickburger in a smaller package. It’s the perfect fit for burger lovers who crave big taste but don’t have such a big appetite.

The Little Thickburger is made with a quarter pound, charbroiled, 100% Angus Black Angus Beef Patty, and available in two styles, both of which are served on a grilled sesame seed bun:

    • with all the fixins, topped with fresh diced red onions, whole lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, dill pickles, cheese and condiments
    • or old school with cheese, diced onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard

The Little Thickburgers start at $1.99 and are available at all locations. Hardee’s has also rolled out a line of ads showing off the Little Thickburger side-by-side with its big brother, the Original 1/3 lb. Thickburger. Keep reading to check ‘em out.

    September 28th, 2008 | Eats

The title of this post and the simple picture speaks so loudly, I was severely tempted to not even post a blurb about it like i’m doing now. All I’ll mention is that you can pick it up at participating Hardee’s restaurants for roughly $2.99. (Thx Hardee’s, FastFoodFever)
