Bear Grylls Eats/Drinks Some Nasty Stuff!
    August 31st, 2008 | Hit-or-Miss | By: Staff

    And a nice compilation:

I don’t really care what people say about Bear Grylls. Who cares if he gets to sleep in a hotel on some nights during his shoot, or if he has a candy bar in between takes. I know for a pretty good fact, that CG is not good enough to fake some of the stuff he does on screen…so for the moments he’s in front of the camera, entertaining mindless audiences like myself, I got mad respect for him.

    100-Flavor Soda Fountain
    August 31st, 2008 | Eats | By: Staff

Get ready to stand in line behind indecisive people. Who are these people? Everyone who will soon be trying to make a selection between 15 different flavors of orange soda, that’s who! It seems that Coca-Cola is readying these futuristic machines in orders to give consumers a large library of options the next time they go to the soda fountain. (Thx ASHDIN, CJC)

    Idiot Hypebeasts.
    August 31st, 2008 | Hit-or-Miss | By: Staff

I’m not really sure why I’m promoting this video further. In the following clip, a group of kids proceed to show off their sneaker collection, speak in a dialect that should only be spoken on BET, and do everything but kill themselves. These kids need to spend their parent’s money and feed some underprivileged children in other countries, instead of spending time filming themselves with their clothes on. If you guys see these kids in the mall, make sure to give them a beating. Or better yet, give their parents a beating. Or even better yet, give me a beating for making you waste your time reading and watching this bullshit. Have a wonderful night:

What this area will be about.
    August 31st, 2008 | Hit-or-Miss | By: Staff

In order to maintain the structural and aesthetic integrity of our fine (or so we think) website, we’ve decided to keep all negative opinion and reviews off our website. We’re not critics, and we were never big fans of them, regardless of the genre (films, music, video games, and ESPECIALLY food). We didn’t go to culinary school (yet), and we don’t feel it proper to damper our content with useless extra bullshit.

So you may ask, what is it that we DO? We just present you with as much information as becomes readily available to us from the wonderful world of food. If we visit a restaurant that we didn’t particularly like, we just won’t bring it up on the website…simple as that.

But in the wake of being so proper on the home page, we decided to make these Editor’s blogs for the 2-3 people who give a shit and have a little bit of extra time on their hands during the day. We’ll post up whatever is going on, maybe some mishaps during the day, office antics, hate mail from readers, hate mail from us to a specific institution, whatever.

This is obviously too much text for one post…sorry, we’ll chirp soon!

    Wendy’s Meatatarian Viral Video
    August 31st, 2008 | Eats | By: Staff

One of the most off the wall campaigns I’ve witnessed for a fast food chain, in years. Apparently, Wendy’s might have started “Meatatarians Unite“, a seemingly fictional (or not?) culmination of meat fanatics. Whatever? Eat on!

    Pepe’s: Brea
    August 31st, 2008 | Adventures | By: Staff

Tracing back to 1962, Pepe’s locations (or as they were originally named, “El Adobe“) have found a long lasting stay in Orange County. With locations in Brea, Anaheim, Fullerton and Downey, the word has obviously been spreading. The Fullerton location was always a safe haven for me and my buddies during our high school lunch hour (or during Trigonometry…whichever came first). Join us as we stop by the Brea location on our way to the Spare the Air festival in Fullerton!
