The First Lady Bake-Off
Potential First Ladies Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain are bringing the presidential campaign to the kitchen. Preceding the last four presidential elections, Family Circle magazine has held a cookie bake-off between the leading candidates’ spouses. This year, McCain pitted her oatmeal butterscotch cookie against Michelle Obama’s shortbread with almond liqueur. Even the White House is full of Foodbeasts! Voting is taking place on the Family Circle website to determine the winner. The results will be revealed before the presidential election in October. Stay with Foodbeast for the coverage!
