McDonald's locations on the East Coast seem to be serving Sweet Potato Pies earlier than the rest of the nation as part of their limited-time "Sweater Weather Sweetness" menu. While most McDonald's chains already have the Pumpkin Pies, it could be weeks before we're able to order the Sweet Potato variation.
The Baked Sweet Potato Pie weights in at 270 calories and 12 grams of fat per serving. With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, these new pies are a welcome addition to the traditional apple and cherries. Me? I'm holding out for a nice Pecan.
