Deep Fried Baconnaise

Baconnaise — imagine mayo with artificial bacon flavoring. Since the idea of bacon flavored mayonnaise wasn’t exciting enough for our friend Nick, he decided to take the same cooking mechanics recognized in fair-favorite deep fried butter, and swap out butter with baconnaise.  The result? Deep Fried Cubes of Baconnaise.

Deep fried butter is usually created by freezing butter, wrapped in wonton wrappers and deep fried, which gave more breathing room for the butter to melt and completely liquify by the time it’s fried up. Following this process, Nick spread the baconnaise into an ice tray, let the cubes freeze, wrapped them in wonton goodness and let them swim in the deep fryer. The result?

Nick reminds us that Baconnaise was never really meant to be eaten on its own, so the deep frying doesn’t make it much better. Regardless, here’s what it looks — Deep Fried Baconnaise:
