Chicken and Waffles on a Stick

Oh the mess of Chicken and Waffles. Most everyone I know has a soft spot for the unlikely delicious combination, but very rarely will you be able to eat them without getting everything you own covered in a greasy, maple syrupy-glaze. Until now. Thanks to this recipe by our friend Lisa, we get to witness cornflake battered fried chicken stuffed within waffles all efficiently propped up on a wooden stick.

If you’re pressed for time, maple syrup will surely work deliciously with this dish, but if you’re a dipper, the sauce seen in the dishes above is an equally delicious Maple Dijon Dipping sauce. Hungry yet?
