Tastykake Reveals Banana Split Baked Pies

Following a low-key press release via their Facebook page, Tastykake fans everywhere are now privy to the launch of the brand’s latest product: Banana Split Baked Pies. The new limited edition addition to Tastykake’s growing menu of items is coupled with an interesting Facebook initiative that asks you to upload a photo of your Tastykake product with ice cream for the chance at winning a case of the new pies (contest live through 5pm on May 20).

It’s interesting to note that in February of this year, the Tastykake brand was facing some rather serious financial troubles. It’s uplifting to see them continuously putting out new products and pushing forward, a hopeful sign of positive things to come from the cult favorite packaged-confectionary group.
