Corn Dog Factory: Do-It-Yourself Corn Dog Skillet

One piece of the carnival food game you don’t often see recreated in your home kitchen is the corn dog. With this Corn Dog Factory skillet, no need to limit your corn dog consumption to frozen food varieties or trips to the fair, with some batter, dogs and a stick, you can now enjoy them at home!

The fun-looking unit makes up to 6 corn dogs, and comes complete with a recipe booklet, skewers and instruction booklet. It’s advertised as being easy-to-clean, 10.2″ in diameter, 4.6″ tall and weighs 6 lbs. I can only imagine the experimental possibilities that could come about with this skillet. ($24.99 @ ThinkGeek)

What do you all think, any fun ideas? Maybe some bacon in the batter? What about a Funfetti cake batter mix? When pictures of that go floating around on the web, best shoot us some love on that idea!
